Maynard's first started trading in 1985, operating from a disused mill in Nailsworth which was converted into a machine shop. The business developed over the years from general production work to more specialized low volume one-offs automotive machining leading to full head reconditioning.

In 2000 the business moved to a 4000sq ft. purpose built factory unit, complete with over-head crane, situated at Woodchester on the side of the A46, 1.3 miles from Nailsworth.

Today, Maynard's operate in two areas of activity: Machine Tool Sales and Automotive Machining.
